Fireworks Explosion Kills Nine, Injures One in Suphan Buri

Suphan Buri, Thailand - July 30, 2025 - According to Bangkok Post reports, a deadly fireworks explosion in Muang district, Suphan Buri province, claimed the lives of nine people and left one injured Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 11 a.m. at a private residence in Ban Pho Tha Sai, tambon Ban Pho, where fireworks were being manufactured.

Police confirmed that all nine fatalities were Thai women. Tragically, one of the victims was eight months pregnant. The injured individual was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

The explosion resulted in the complete destruction of two houses and damage to a nearby vehicle.

Local officials have established an aid center at Wat Pho Tha Sai in tambon Ban Pho to provide assistance to those affected by the tragedy. Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
